When I lived in Sheffield Lake, we got a few kittens. I don’t remember the exact time period off the top of my head but I was either in elementary or middle school.
The kittens slept in the bed with me. One of them liked to sleep by my head and groom my hair. Another one liked sleeping in the little nest between my legs.
One night, my mother woke me up. One of the kittens was crying loudly and wrapped up in the blanket between my legs. While I was dead asleep, probably while tossing and turning, the poor kitten was contorted and likely suffocating wrapped up in the comforter.
My parents grabbed the kitten and put her in the bathroom. She was walking around crying loudly inside the bathroom. The noise he was making was horrifying.
My parents drove the kitten to the vet after a phone call early in the morning. I believe it was around 3am.
I was horrified to find out that the vet put the kitten down. I’m starting to wonder if that was even necessary.
This morning, around 3:48am, I can clearly recall that I was dreaming, and I needed to kick something (I don’t know what it was) to defend myself in my dream. I woke up to the sound of my cat jumping onto the floor. I immediately thought, that must be a coincidence and nearly fell back asleep.
After a minute, I sat up and started calling her back to the bed. She jumped right back up on the bed and initially went to my partners side to lay back down. I put my sleeping mask back on and laid on my back and after a few minutes she walked right over to the nest between my legs and plopped herself back down. There were no further incidents.
I just checked my camera around 1PM the same day and come to find out; my body didn’t move while I was dreaming until I kicked. I couldn’t believe my eyes. In what world is this a natural coincidence? I’m thanking God that our cat is an adult and her reflexes are out of this world. This was done precisely, while I was dead asleep. I’ve preserved the video footage of this one.
Another human is able to make my cat walk around and cry like a human infant. She has never heard a crying infant to try and mimic the noise. They are able to make her do things that I know she wouldn’t do without outside influence. I’ve raised this cat since she was a kitten.
If anyone is interested in discussing this or reviewing the footage with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out via e-mail.
A note, during my last virtual visit with my doctor she asked me, out of the blue, if I had been having any vivid dreams lately. Why would someone ask that question, how does it relate to health?
