I’ve been working on a new custom hand-rolled blog using React + Typescript for the frontend and C# ASP.NET Core for the backend.
I wanted to have it up and running by my birthday, but my home situation prevented me from completing it on time. After my birthday I took a little over a month break while I dealt with other things.
Now, I am finishing up the code for the backend and will have a brand-new blog with new content soon™. The frontend proof of concept is impressive to me, so I am excited to get other eyes on it. I haven’t encountered anything exactly like it out there.
I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to archive this blog and keep it available for reading, or transfer over the most important posts to the new blog. This WordPress blog may go away entirely. If you are somebody in my life who is reading through it and it disappears on you, send me an e-mail and I may provide the content privately on request.
Hopefully none of the things I’ve described in this blog are things that you can relate to. It would be a tragedy if it actually hits home. This blog is not a joke, everything I have described has been an honest accounting of what I have experienced in the last year and three months.
