As discussed in one of my previous blog posts, I let cbain.tech go because it was $80 a year to renew.

Above is proof that it was not auto-renewing. The domain stopped working after it was expired.

Above shows the transaction that I did not make, today.

Above shows how my account went negative to pay for a domain renewal. I did not make this transaction.

Above shows how I am opted out from overdrafts.

Above shows how now it is now an auto-renew subscription, from a transaction which I didn’t make. I called Huntington and they told me the transaction went through because it was a subscription. Apple is also a subscription, but they haven’t over drafted my account to pay for Apple. I was told to contact the merchant.
I contacted Network Solutions and was able to get it resolved in 1 phone call. They have refunded the amount charged and my old domain is going to be available for somebody else to purchase. I’m excited to see who buys it and what they decide to do with it.
cbain.dev will be the domain name going forward, and I am going to pre-pay for a few years. This blog may go away within the next year but most of its content will still be available for review until the issues I am facing (like this) are resolved.
